Heat
What is heat? The one word explanation is ENERGY. There are three ways that heat transfers from one thing to another. The three are called: Conduction, Convection, and Radiation.
Conduction
Conduction is when heat transfers through TOUCH. Examples: Touching a stove, a lizard sitting on a hot rock, etc.
Convection
Convection is when heat moves in the shape of a CIRCLE. Examples: Basement being colder than upstairs because heat moves up and goes back down, etc.
Radiation
Radiation is when heat comes from the SUN. Examples: you are sunburned, ice cream melting outside, etc.
Light
What is light? Light comes from the sun and hits an object. That light bounces onto the image, reflects, and bounces back to your eye. People may say that black is not a color. The way the color black works is that when you see black, no light is reflecting back to your eye and your brain fills in the color. So there is no color when you see black, but your brain is smart enough to fill it in. In conclusion, black is when all of the colors are being absorbed, and white is when all of the colors are being reflected. But let's learn more.

rDefinitions
Light being...
absorbed: this is when light is hitting an object and when it is not reflecting.
reflected; If light hits a mirror, some light is absorbed, but most is reflected.
transmitted: If light hits an object, light is coming from one place and going to the next. (transferring from one object to the next)
Angle...
of Incidence: The angle that is hitting an object.
of Reflection: The angle that is coming from the angle of incidence and being reflected.
If an angle hits at a 70 degree angle, it reflects at a 70 degree angle. Always equal.
